I ate at the Grotto Loverciano a few weeks ago at noon. I was very struck by the beauty of the place, rustic and welcoming at the same time. The staff introduced themselves kindly and the (interesting) dishes we tasted were particularly good. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos that day.

very expensive italian food that is good but not crazy good. mozarella di buffala on some fennel is 18 bucks, for this price the mozarella could have at least a decent size. pannacotta is very good an fluffy

Service sans carte physique, vous devez scanner vous-même un code QR pour avoir accès au menu, un peu étonnant mais moderne. On m'indique que le paiement par carte est possible, toutefois au moment de payer on me refuse la carte PostFinance, heureusement que j'avais également une carte de crédit.Côté cuisine, un hamburger globalement bon, épicé un peu façon indienne avec une sauce curry, pas désagréable du tout. La viande de bonne qualité m'a bien plu, le pain peut-être un peu trop épais à mon goût, un peu sec aussi. Les oignons frits en revanche, vraiment délicieux. Globalement une expérience correcte. A signaler encore la bière "Ittinger" à la pression, sympa.

This is one of the best restaurants in Zermatt! The prices were appropriate, the staff were lovely and the food was delicious (got the carbonara and the bolognese 🫶🏼). The owner is such a great guy and you can tell how much he cares about the quality of his restaurant!
