Well, it used to be a great neighborhood pub... today the crowd is from the neighborhood but the food is a little fancy.. but the quality and taste are good (except for the meat, a touch more flavor) and the service is very good and friendly

We came here by chance and loved everything about this place. The food is of high quality, delicious and all locally sourced. Service was fast and efficient. Atmosphere is great. The icing on the cake: they serve food until late and there are superb vegan and vegetarian options.

Suddenly I wanted to eat pizza, so I stopped by. I was thankful that they tried to make room somehow because there were a lot of people with reservations. What was disappointing was that there was no English menu. However, as I was lost in choosing a menu, a regular sitting next to me recommended several items. Thanks to that, we talked about various things and received recommendations, and the margherita I had thanks to him was truly the best. The staff is so friendly that you want to make friends. On my solo trip, that couple left me with precious memories. Margherita is very good, staffs are very kind. This restaurant gave me a good memory of Basel. I came alone here but the couple next to me, recommend the menu and made me comfortable all time.

Needed a coffee and couldn't resist the food. And : what a view and huge rooftop. G8 place to eat and rest.

I love this place because it has a very good atmosphere and the staff is very competent and professional with a welcome that I appreciate. Good food the way I like it with simplicity and a touch of creativity, it all depends on the dish you take.

Bottom line is - great food(mostly), don't order water, do a takeout !! ----- I forget the name, One of the spicy curries was lousy. Didn't go well with the rice at all. Food is otherwise Very tasty. Good pricing. Quick service. Cards accepted. Rocket Chilli sauce, be careful. The Restaurant itself is nothing great, is small, and fills up quickly. Would have given 5 stars, but The lady should know what to say and what not to. She acts like she's your strict grandmother. Ignore her !! Have made it 1 star. A glass of tap water costs 4.50. Same cost as a cold drink or a beer. This is even worse than those little water bottles we get in kiosks that cost 5chf. Not going here again. If at all, Do a takeaway.

Came across you by chance. Small but very nice. Cash only is no problem for me at all. I pay mainly in cash (only cash is real 😉)

Were there with the carnival clique. Even with large companies, I expect something different in this price category. The menu was a matter of taste and for the price (74.-) we were still rather hungry. An allergy was not taken into account, all she got was rice without anything (celery allergy/vegetarian, nothing more) at the same price. There was an expensive wine and a not so good wine to choose from. The staff probably didn't have a good day and with 80 people only 1 person could check out...we had to beg for a bowl because it was too much effort... Wouldn't a house like this be of interest in making one or two people want to come back?

Very nice restaurant in the center of Basel, right near the town hall (the red building). Welcoming atmosphere, quite warm temperature inside the place (for a t-shirt) even though it was raining outside. We tasted the famous classic cordon bleu with cheese and ham, very good, generous portion and super filling. Friendly and helpful staff, The service was fast and precise. If you are in Basel it is definitely worth a stop here :) We paid 112 CHF for the cordon bleu and dessert with beer and water. See you next time 💪🏻😎

Cute place with average food and drinks but very slow service.

Restaurant near the center of Basel, small and welcoming. The owner is very kind and speaks a little Italian. We tasted the Fondue which was a pleasure. Prices are in line with Switzerland But if you're in Basel it's worth trying their signature dish 😎

Beautiful ambience and lovingly prepared food. I can particularly recommend the vegi burger. In spring summer with garden.

We came to Switzerland for a trip with my wife and we are very pleased with this restaurant that we stopped by by chance. As soon as you enter the shop, you are greeted with a warm atmosphere and smiling faces. The food is incredibly delicious and homemade. Do not leave without trying the baklava. Endless thanks to Mr. İbrahim and his team, we felt like at home. May you have good luck.
