Great small restaurant, went twice and we had great meals and service

Pizzas are amazing but the rest…. Not so great. They also have the audacity to charge you almost CHF 10 for water from the tab 😅 that’s really a big joke! Again, except for pizza and location, I would not go.

We have been coming here for years, and we are never disappointed. Very good home cooking, simple and fresh. Welcoming staff and very clean restaurant. Excellent value for money!

I feel compelled to comment. I love all the lake side restaurants on the Silver Coast and frequent them all, both with clients and alone between appointments. They all have beautiful settings and nice food but Mönschof stands head and shoulders above the rest in terms of service. They are unfailingly polite and attentive. They treat you the same if you are a big party or just enjoying a hugo and truffle fries. For this reason I would recommend anyone to choose this spot and I would like to thank the staff for being honestly the warmest and most welcoming I have experienced in Switzerland. Danke !

Great location and the Schnitzel, as well as the truffle fries are great! There are some dishes that are a bit underwhelming, but overall quite great.

I stayed one night at this hotel and I don't want to come back ever. After all day walking in Lausanne I just wanted to sleep. But the bed was horrible. At first, the mattress felt like wood, very hard. And second, I arrived with my boyfriend and we ordered a room for a couple. I expected one big bed, but we got two single beds, which moved just by one hand without any effort. I woke up 6 times during the night because I fell down between the beds. The sink was clogged, and the pressure in the shower was so strong that the water literally hit me in the face. But maybe this is even a plus, I woke up after a sleepless night.

First I have to say the service was outstanding. The waiters were all motivated and had a smile on their faces, which is very important to me. They also chatted with the guests. I ordered Santa Chiara (with beef) and it was delicious. Authentic Italian food. I will gladly come again.
