Very high quality lakeside restaurant, friendly waiters, owner always present and kind, very clean, very good chef, normal prices. Lately the quality has increased further, the goods are always very well presented and the quality has increased.

I had the best experience at Locanda Gandriese and was so happy they were open! The meal I had was delicious! I loved everything, especially the octopus which was the best I ever had. This restaurant and the staff were so nice and charming. They were so helpful and nice to chat with during my meal and also helped direct me where the bus was back to Lugano. I’m so happy I had a memorable experience and hope to come back again one day soon! Grazie mille!!!

We've been living half-time in Locarno for 4 years and to this day we've never been to the Bottega, a big mistake. It is undoubtedly one of the best places in town. We had goose liver, fresh salmon and Entercote Café de Paris. Maybe not for everyone. But you can't beat what we had! We'll be back soon.

Beautiful Restaurant in a nice area with a wonderful menu. I was here twice and it was always perfect cooked food. Also the cheese and the wine are perfect here. And especially in the summer times the outside area has a beautiful view. The Service is always great!

Definitely our favorite place for the most delicious ossobucco & grilled pork ribs we’ve ever had. We’ve returned here a lot of times, more than in any place so far, actually. 20mins drive from Lugano, close to Arosio, in Alto Malcantone. Beautiful outside terrace with stone tables & benches, in the woods, at the end of the road and at the beginning of the walking and biking trails. Great place to have lunch and then start off in the fresh air, exploring nature, which is fantastic all around the grotto, no matter the season. Welcoming owners and staff too.

We ordered menu for two people which consisted of two courses, a starter and a main course. The food was tasty but the portions were very small, the price of the food was very expensive for the quantity and we waited about an hour and a half for it. In any case, we were here and won't be back. The service is first class, the waiters are very nice.

Small, very characteristic place, where you can taste local specialties. I highly recommend the fondue bourguignonne!
