I was there with the company after work in the summer. Ambience was cozy and pleasant. Food/snacks were generally okay but the portions were too small for me. The service was (I suspect) unmotivated students who asked for tips very quickly. I would also be happy to pay if they would try a little harder.

There were 12 of us, we had booked a table at 9:40 and arrived at 9:51. The waiter tells us that we are late and that it is impossible to eat now. We spoke in Italian and while I was translating what he was saying into French for two friends, he interrupted me to tell me that "he can speak French too", as if I had said something bad, when I was simply explaining the situation. In a very arrogant way he explains to me that I'm not from Switzerland, so I don't know "the rules" well but here, that's how it works. In short, there is nothing to discuss, we have to leave. An Italian friend who was there goes to talk to him and "as if by magic", the kitchen opens and we can order pizzas. Then he explains to her that he didn't want to serve us because he doesn't like the French. I'm very disappointed because the pizzas are good and I've never had any problems with the rest of the staff. But if we hadn't had an Italian friend that evening, we wouldn't have been able to eat there. To be avoided.

Went there for the first time a few days ago because we heard so many good things. Unfortunately, the meat on the burger was a bit burnt and, together with the bagel, it was rather impractical to eat. The remaining menus were okay in terms of taste, but unfortunately nothing more. It was very simply presented, without any frills, which made all the dishes, apart from the burger, look pretty bland. The waitress tried to be friendly, but was either stressed or somewhat annoyed and couldn't quite hide it. A pity! It's okay for a visit to see it, but nothing more, apart from the beer selection, I don't understand all the hype about this place.

Love this place! Super good food and the service is great! International staff that genuinely are passionate about the food. If into Japanese/asian food, look no further.

I really don't write many reviews, and when I do it's pretty bad.... Unfortunately... Unfortunately, our experiences coincide with many comments here. Something's going wrong. It's no coincidence that so many people spend the evening in the toilet after their visit. Me and my girlfriend were also allowed to sit on the toilet afterwards.... You may say that everything is checked or that this is on paper. But unfortunately reality seems to be different different. I cannot recommend this store. We won't be coming back and will probably avoid Subway. Aside from that, Subway is ridiculously expensive. Almost 45 Fr.- for two sandwiches and two drinks... I know restaurants where you get more for less. Completely failed, sorry...

This place has three problems. Absolutely 0 atmosphere, this potato salad from the kettle and the price-performance ratio is not right. The schnitzels are okay and the service is great, but the rest is not recommended

Authentic village pub, despite or perhaps because of the exotic staff. This is where Zürig’schnetzlets meets Mah-Meh. That's fun!

I really enjoy being at the Spitz and do so regularly. Great location, good, uncomplicated food and a nice ambience.

Here you can enjoy a very strong espresso, read magazines and newspapers in peace and watch the passers-by.

After they took our last wine order an hour and a half before closing time listed on their website. No one said anything about closing early. After we got our wines our server came by and asked if we needed anything for last call. We said no (we had full glasses of wine). Then he brought us the bill immediately. We paid our bill (a bit confused). Our server assured us “you can drink your glasses of wine. No rush”. Then his colleague -if any restaurant owner or investor wants to know, it was the guy with the star on the back of his neck and the chip on his shoulder - turned the music full blast, and started putting up chairs on the tables - making so much noise my friend, and I couldn’t hear ourselves speak.

Super pub, eher klein aber es hatte live musik, die barkeeper sind super drauf. Es hat ein gutes corona sicherheitskonzept. Super abend...
