It was our first time at Butcherstable and we had never had such a good experience the first time in a restaurant. The ambience was in keeping with the concept; it wasn't too crowded, not too loud and there was a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was great from start to finish, from the individual explanations of the concept to the fact that we were always looked after. The butcher really knew his craft, you rarely see such cleanliness👍🏼👍🏼 A surprise for us that from the starter to the meat and even the sweet little desserts always left a complete taste experience. The love for the subject can truly be felt and is therefore fair for the price, good quality has its price! A complete success, thank you very much👍🏼

Wir waren letzten Mittwoxh zu dritt im Goodwin essen. Ambiente ok, Service eher uninteressiert, kühl. Der Salat war gut, das Fleisch (darum sind wir gekommen) mangelhaft. Das Cowboysteak war kalt und geschmacklos, die Beilagen ebenfalls. Für diese Preise, erwarte ich bessere Qualität. War sicher zum letzten mal hier

It was my first time visiting here and I'm so excited that I'm coming back. The restaurant looks inconspicuous from the outside if you've never been here before, but as soon as you entered the restaurant I was very surprised at how beautifully and harmoniously it was decorated. A bright room with beautiful decorations, What I really like is that the tables are far enough apart. Very positive even if you have the BBQ you don't feel like it. Which I think is very, very good. I had the pleasure of trying Korean BBQ for the first time. The side dishes and sauce selection leaves nothing to be desired. I immediately found my way around the grill. What I think is good is that if someone doesn't know this yet, it will be explained briefly to the guests. So don't worry, you're not left to your own devices. The quality and portion size correspond to the price level, which I find to be very, very good. For the BBQ I would recommend Magoli rice wine or soju I really wanted to try another soup and then chose the Galbitang soup and also asked for it to be spicy. It had exactly the right amount of spiciness so that the ingredients came into their own. I can highly recommend it to everyone The meat was very tender. The time from ordering to serving the dish/ingredients is a pleasant one. Even when the crowd is very high and the restaurant is full. If you have any further wishes you will contact the staff and they will come to you straight away. Serive on customer note. 1 Conclusion. Shilla is a must if you are in Zurich and want to eat Korean food. Please reserve in advance, it's worth it for you. Thank you very much for the good food and the service to the team. I was there with the company after work in the summer. Ambience was cozy and pleasant. Food/snacks were generally okay but the portions were too small for me. The service was (I suspect) unmotivated students who asked for tips very quickly. I would also be happy to pay if they would try a little harder.

I spontaneously went out to eat with my friend, he only took an appetizer. (30.- CHF) I asked the waiter to suggest something good for me and mentioned that I wasn't very hungry. He said he would put something together for me, I agreed. The bill came! Total 400.- CHF. So is the staff trained to sell the most expensive things without mentioning prices? It's great when you rip off your guests in this way. Arber was very professional on the phone and apologized for it, but I've never experienced anything so outrageous. For the money I go to a Michelin restaurant where a one-star chef serves me food. And no waiter who doesn't understand German. Sad, I would have liked to have written something positive because I like to see my compatriots succeed. But something like that is just a rip off.
